BIO Ms. Folsom manages all aspects of owner-operation of Nutrition Abbey (2020-Present). -A private clinical practice that serves the public sector through Statewide Medicaid Managed Care plans.

Ms. Folsom is an experienced Clinical Nutritionist, researcher and public health nutrition consultant. With precision, Ms. Folsom brings nutrition access to the disability population. Her philosophy, Nutrition is a functional tool. Ms. Folsom worked in primary care that serving nine nearby counties, where access to chronic disease management is limited at best. As Florida State University alumna, Abbey holds both her Bachelor- and Master- of Science degrees in Nutrition and Food Science, from the (FKA) College of Human Sciences. With a portfolio of publications, her practice is evidence-based. Abbey resides in Tallahassee, as a 7th generation Floridian. -A real Southerner who has defied assumptions and expectations as a professional with disabilities. Ms. Folsom understands nutrition politics at the Federal and State level as related to Managed Care.
